Job Description:
Shall be responsible for quantification, preparation of BOQ, Technical specifications, Construction programme, budgeting and costing, preparation of tender documents, floating of tender, liaising with clients, architects and consultants and co-coordinating on the contract process and procedures, preparation of rate analysis of items,
Procurement of building materials indigenous & imported.
Should be capable of reading and analyzing the contract and come up with extra claims, variations, dealing with variation raised by other agencies and contractors.
Shall have knowledge of preparation of cash flow statements, cost estimates, tendering, contract documentation, preparation of final accounts and negotiations with vendors and sub -agencies.
Shall have good knowledge of the prevailing market rates and various new items in the market.
Should be capable of leading a team of engineers in performing the above tasks.
Candidate with predominant working experience with renowned contractors handling IT Buildings, residential Commercial High rises, large Township preferred.
