Job Description:

  1. Job Purpose Summary:
     
    The purpose of this job role is to plan, support and execute the Internal Communications Strategy.
     
  2. Key Responsibilities:
Communication Execution based on Business goals  
  • Execute the communication strategy and plan based on business goals and initiatives
  • Execute the communication calendar for planned activities
  • Work closely with the business points of contact to ensure effectiveness and cascade of the Employee and Business Communications Strategy
 
Conceptualization and Messaging 
Work with and support reporting manager to:
  • conceptualise campaigns and suggest tools and mediums forlaunches in alignment with the Creative Team
  • develop and manage content for communication
  • create key messages to meet current communication needs
  • execute the periodic release of department/operations specific newsletters online
  • conduct research and collect content and inputs for the Corporate house-magazine
  • execute the roll outs of different communications for products / campaigns
  • execute the publishing of Leadership / Management Communications etc.
  • provide messaging, branding, promotional material, collaterals and event management support for business campaign launches, roadshows, employee felicitation programs, employee engagement initiatives, etc.
  • Plan and execute marketing communication, corporate branding and promotional campaigns
     
     
    Coordination
  • coordinate with Creative Cell for the finalization of creative and other deliverables
  • coordinate with the Communication Services group – vendors cell for outsourced collaterals/ merchandise, event management, etc.
  • coordinate with external vendors like ad agencies, media agencies, photography and videography service providers, printing/collateral/merchandise vendors, etc.
 
Implementation
  • be the Custodian of the Company and Customer Brands
  • implement communication activities, collaterals, etc. within the set time and budget
  • maintain communication related document archives
  • prepare and publish daily team job list, weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual job reports along with analysis for management reviews
  • ensure standard processes are followed as per the communication  guidelines to maintain standardization and quality
  • provide feedback on communication effectiveness via  Polls & surveys as needed
  • drive the CSR activities in alignment with the  central initiatives
 
Management of Online, Social and Digital Media
  • create and update content on real time basis for Intranet, Website and all Social/Online channels or Digital media to respond to and engage with followers/fans
  • create and execute strategy and plan to grow follower/fan base
  • provide inputs on the design, look and feel of content based on the brand guidelines
  • develop messages and original content for the digital media
  • collect feedback on the effectiveness of online and digital messaging for management review
 
 
Events
  • plan and execute the Reward & Recognition events for the different country Operations
  • Conceptualize themes proactively in conjunction with Creative and Events team and seek SMT (Senior Management Teams) approvals 
  • Provide  content message and inputs for creative and logistics implementation
  • Coordinate with Creative Team for collaterals
  • Coordinate with Central Events team for event logistics
  • organize and drive attendance at Communication Meets /Road Shows as per plan
initiate and drive Employee Engagement programs / floor / sports/ cultural events / in conjunction with HR. Ensure Logistics implementation through Events Team.

 

Job Requirements:

(i) Functional Job-specific Skills / Knowledge
Necessary
  • Knowledge of internal, external, marketing and business communication, social media, PR and upcoming media trends
  • Familiarity with tools and applications used for communication and dissemination
Preferable
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in the area of employee, business and marketing communications
  • Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, etc.
Optional
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in the area of investor & analyst relations

(ii) Behavioural Competencies
Necessary
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and rapport and manage expectations ofinternal & external customers
